PRSA 2010 Book Award Winners
Please read now the announcement and citations of the Winner and Honorable Mention of PRSA’s 2010 Book Award, the first time that PRSA honored the best book in Puerto Rican Studies published between its biennial conferences.
The award was renamed the Frank Bonilla Book Award to honor the memory and lifetime achievements of a major founder of the interdisciplinary scholarly field in Puerto Rican Studies. Bonilla was the founding director of the Center for Puerto Rican Studies, Hunter College, City University of New York (CUNY), which he led for twenty-years.
The announcements of both the 2010 Book Award Winner, as well as the 2012 Frank Bonilla Book Award Competition are two of the news articles available in the new “El Noticiero” blog, which you can access using the navigation menu found near the top of this page.
